Belco at Autism Run/Walk on 4.27.19

We had a fun time at the Logan’s 5K Run & Walk for Autism on City Island in Hbg on April 27. Belco is proud to be a sponsor of this community charity event!

Belco Employees Participate in Lebanon’s United Way Day of Caring 4.27.19

Our group went to Bordner’s cabin, located in Swatara State Park.  We swept, removed debris, and put a patch on the roof where a tree had fallen on it.  One of the County Commissioners, Jo Ellen Litz was there, and appreciated our efforts.  Just another day living the Belco Life!

Bring Your Daughters & Sons to Work Day 4.25.19

On Thursday, April 25, Belco celebrated “Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day.” We had 34 kids participate. The children got to shadow their parents, take office tours, and at the Ops. Center they were treated to guest speakers. We want to thank our guest speakers, Corporal Brandon Pokrop from the Swatara Police Department, as well as,  guest speakers from the Humane Society of Harrisburg AreaCentral Pennsylvania Food Bank, and Harrisburg Senators.


Belco Hosted FOUR Safari Egg Hunts in April

In the month of April, hundreds of children joined us for the Safari Club Egg Hunts at four local parks located in Carlisle, Lancaster, Gettysburg and Harrisburg.

Belco Shred Day at our Eastgate Branch 4.13.19

On Saturday, April 13, we held a FREE shred day at our Eastgate branch in Carlisle. Nearly 80 people came through, and 1,326 lbs. of paper was shredded.


Belco at Phoenix Academy in Lancaster 4.11.19

On Thursday, April 11, we were excited to participate in a Community Day at Phoenix Academy, in Lancaster, PA. It was great talking to the students about financial education and employment.


Belco Sponsored Junior Achievement Young Women’s Futures Symposium on 4.8.19

Belco was a sponsor of the Junior Achievement of South Central PA Young Women’s Futures Symposium held at Central Penn College on Monday, April 8. Over 130 girls from 17 local high schools attended, they learned about careers, budgeting, and reviewed job resumes. The day ended with an inspirational message from motivational speaker, Harriet Mauney Turk. Each student left with a backpack filled with items donated by local businesses.


Belco Celebrates 25th Anniversary as UPMC Pinnacle’s Credit Union 4.1.19

Phil Guarneschelli, UPMC Pinnacle’s CEO and Amey Sgrignoli, Belco’s CEO, kicked off the celebration where over 400 whoopie pies were handed out to staff.


Belco 2019 Annual Meeting Dinner 3.30.19

We held our 80th Anniversary Annual Meeting Dinner at the Radisson in Camp Hill on March 30, 2019. It was a Totally 80’s theme dinner, and over 500 people were in attendance.

Belco Donated $5,450 to Big Brothers Big Sisters in Bowl for Kids Sake Event 3.23.19

Over 20 Belco employees with friends and family, participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region Bowl for Kids Sake at ABC West Lanes & Lounge in Mechanicsburg. We raised $5,450 in donations.
