Need to Dispute a Card Transaction?

To dispute a Belco credit card, debit card, or non-Belco ATM transaction:

  • Please attempt to contact the merchant first, as most billing errors can be resolved this way.
  • If the merchant is unwilling/unable to correct the transaction or if you do not recognize the charge(s), please continue.
  • Please note: Pending charges cannot be disputed until they post to your account.

  • For merchant disputes, gather documentation (receipts, proof of return, copies of merchant communication)
  • Please make note of your dispute case number, should you need to call back for updates.

We may send you a letter requesting additional information related to your case. Please be sure to read and respond promptly to any correspondence.
