Important Fraud Alert

We have recently been made aware of a spam text message being sent to members and non-members impersonating Belco. This text message references that your account is under review and asks that you click a link to prevent further closure.

This communication is NOT from Belco and the message should be deleted.  DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK!

Always go to www.belco.org or our Belco mobile app for online needs.  We will NEVER send you a hyperlink to click via text message.

In addition, if Belco calls you regarding fraud prevention, we will NEVER ask for your full card number and/or PIN.

The fraudulent text message looks like the image below.  Notice, the link takes you to a different website impersonating Belco.
